We look after your fish during the day in a rainwater ice slurry until we reach the beach where we ask you to have your large eskies in your car packed with plenty of ice.

Your fish are gilled and gutted for you onboard. We can provide advice on how to fillet, what fish are better skinned and how to best freeze your catch to ensure you enjoy meals long after the charter experience is over.

Reef Encounters participate in the DPI Game Fish Tagging Program, the largest saltwater tagging program of its kind in the world which has been in operation since 1973.

For our interstate guests, we can provide advice and contacts for fish transport.

“Mark has excellent fishing knowledge and knows the area like the back of his hand! His charter has great variety with many beautiful eating fish with Nannygai being at the top of my list which we have been lucky enough to have bagged out on both times I’ve been with these guys!”

“Can’t thank Mark and Nathan enough for a day that was the most fun I have ever had in my life. After eight hours, I pulled up my line for the last time for the day and was already flipping through my mental calendar to figure out when I will be able to come out again.”

Keith

“Absolutely unreal! Will be booking again in the near future for sure. Thank you fellas for a fantastic day!”
